About Stockholm

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden.
Since autumn 1993 I live in a suburb southwest of Stockholm called Vårby Gård. On the image above you see where Sweden is in Europe and Stockholm in Sweden, plus where Sweden is in the world.

Stockholm is a beautiful town – especially in the summer when the weather is OK – surrounded by a lot of water. It has also become a very international town during the last decades. When I grew up – in the town proper – it was quite provincial. But not any more.
