Karpathos town. We saw this boat every day on our way to and from the beach in Karpathos town. It was "parked" just at the sidewalk, a reminder that the time when Karpathos town was a fishing village is not that far away. The town when we visited was quickly getting redone and modernized and the tourist business had just started. That is when a place is the best – before the hordes of tourists arrive.
