The local busses on Malta almost always looked like this one. This also had a name: "The Black Stallion". These buses remind me of how busses looked when I was a kid. They have no air-conditioning except for the open window. The seats are very uncomfortable and the bus is extremely bumpy on the road. They are also almost always full next to bursting so it is not a very comfortable ride. Fortunately, most distances are short.
But the busses are charming no matter how uncomfortable they are.
