The Beach The beach outside Naxos Town (not far away – within walking distance) is long and filled with lots of people. You had to get there in time to get a chair and an umbrella. Along the beach are quite a few bars and restaurants. The waters are shallow and you can walk quite far out before the water reaches your shoulders – unless there is a wind and waves of course.
