The beach of Asselinos

The beach of Asselinos was our third stop. A long, sandy beach with very clear water. One huge tavern where we had lunch and then a dip into the sea before the trip around the island went on.

The food at the tavern was extremely expensive and the choice was mainly heavy stuff. I had the worst moussaka I´ve ever had and the dullest tzatziki (my own is better...) with a soda water for drink for about €12. It was not worth the money.

The dip in the sea was nice though. As it was in the middle of the day it was very hot and no shade anywhere. At least the beach had a shower so you could get rid of all the saltwater.
