The last stop on our trip around the island was to be the island Tsougria, just outside Skiathos. It was late afternoon, very hot, and the sea was really still. A moment before this picture was taken there actually was a dolphin jumping up into the air behind the boat. It only jumped once and disappeared. But at least I DID see one of the famous dolphins that live in the area. There actually is a large area set apart as a preservation park for preserving the sea life between Skiathos and Skopelos where both dolphins and some rare seals live – among others.
